Last year my brother, Bhadar Singh, most of you knowing his as Bad, suffered a minor heart attack in his sleep and failed to gain consciousness. Family and paramedics spent 40 minutes resuscitating him and after stabilising him at home the family were told he did not make it to the hospital. He left behind his 6 year old daughter, 10 year old son, his wife - his soulmate, proud parents, siblings and extended family and friends.

Bad had no history of heart problems and his death has left us all devastated. To celebrate his life on the anniversary of his death, family and friends are getting together to participate in the Blenheim Palace Family Fun Run. Three generations of family will come to together to raise awareness of heart disease but also raise funds so that the BHF can continue with their research.
