Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page
Update - the ride was completed on 1st September so thanks to everybody who took part. All the best to Andrew Beer who, unfortunately, was hit by a car just outside Bridgend. Sadly, Andrew was unable to complete the ride due to his injuries but Mark Gallagher has informed me that he was home on Sunday night, a bit battered and bruised. Mark expects Andrew to make a full recovery and be out on his bike again soon. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
The fundraising has now reached close to £2,500 and you can still donate. We will also be arranging a presentation night at Gowerton Rugby Club with the aim of raising a few more quid. Many thanks to those who have already donated.
Many thanks to everybody that has already donated and helped us reach our original target of £1,000. Due to the magnificant support we have received we have decided to increase the target to £1,500 so please dig deep and continue to support this worthwhile cause. The boys and girls doing the riide will be giving everything they've got to get back to Gowerton on Sunday.
Many thanks to Martin Bennett of Sainsburys and Peter Jones of Asda for the bananas, cakes and jelly bean donations and Dave and the guys at Action Bikes in Swansea for their support - lucky to still have some bikes to sell.
