I have waited 4 years since my baby girl was born to fulfil a vow I had to shave my head at Tirupati, Andra Pradesh, India. This holy temple has thousands of pilgrims each day traveling from all parts of world. I tried to fulfil the vow about 2 years ago but was unable to succeed.

This time, whilst I was planning my journey and my shave, I thought it would be helpful to also raise money for charity. Whilst deciding which charities I wanted to support, the obvious one for me was Cancer Research as my immediate family members and good friends have suffered due to this disease. Having first hand experience seeing what cancer can do to a person I really hope the money raised can go towards  more research and hopefully vaccines someday.
