Our life-changing research can fight diseases, tackle global challenges and change society. At Nottingham, students from all backgrounds can achieve extraordinary things, in and out of the classroom. But talent needs a catalyst. You can shape the future and help make the incredible happen, every day

Story

Project Myemyela, Project Smile

TOMORROW, I will be heading out to Limpopo, South Africa, with a team of architecture students from the University of Nottingham, to build a brand new nursery school for the teachers and the children at Lephapane Village. It is one of the poorest and undeveloped rural parts of South Africa and we want to make a difference.

As a group, we need to raise £38,000 for the project. Your donation will cover the cost of tools, materials and other technicalities of the project. Anything is appreciated and I thank you very much.

One of the most important aspects about this project to me, is that I am able to explore the world, but through a means where I can create a positive impact on those who may not be as privileged, and I am incredibly grateful for this exciting opportunity.

Please help us reach our goal by donating, anything helps, and you will be part improving the lives of the teachers and young children of Limpopo, to inspire and build a brighter future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
