Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

A school friend, Steven Holbrook, lost his fight against a brain tumour last year.  His brother, Adam, has committed to raise money in his memory and I'm riding with Adam and others, 123 miles to Southwold in aid of brain tumour research

For some of the group this will be the first venture above 100 miles; no mean feat itself, and there's an extra 20 thrown in for good measure on this ride.

This will be the furthest I've ever ridden, and we're sticking together so we are all in for a long day in the saddle. I'm sure we're all going to have our moments along the way - 10 hours on a saddle does funny things and then there's the pedalling!

Really looking forward to the ride and any money you can spare for this worthy cause will help those hours fly by.
