A couple of months ago I happened to mention on Twitter that I was considering doing the Pedal for Scotland bike ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh. It was a bit of a whirlwind and all of a sudden I - and a few others - had signed up to do this. The official charity partner has been anounced and it is STV's Appeal which is working hard to help get Scottish children out of poverty.
