Those who know me, know I hate running. I have however, now run four (London may be my 5) Marathon for Macmillan. I do this because, whilst other Charities try to find a cure for this dreaded disease, and that is great; Macmillan, I’d say uniquely, address the needs and the immediate quality of life of sufferers, their families and careers.

 

Given just how many people I know, or sadly, have known, who were otherwise healthy, struck down by “the Big C”, and the effect on their lives and of those around them, this is a driving force for me to complete this painful process in the sure and certain hope that you will donate freely.
