Story

Team Members who spent "A night under the stars"

Graeme Whillance, Mike Hackett, Pete Sorsby, Tracy Cooper, Michael Stephens, Martin Gorman, Faith Douglas, Jon Cowley, Paula Flanagan, Sue Gordon and Katy Bartlett.

On 19th January 2010, we slept outside Sheffield Cathedral to experience what it is like to be homeless.  There were 11 participants, with an aim is to raise £4,000, which will support the Cathedral Archer Project.  We now appreciate how fortunate we are, as we return home after spending just one night "under the stars."

We were visited in the early evening by the local press and Radio Sheffield the following morning.  When we challenged the radio presenter to do something similar he politely declined and suggested a sponsored sleep in a local Hotel might be more appropriate!
