A few years ago a young man working for my company was involved in a very serious motor accident , his life was saved only by the skilled and dedicated team that operated the Midlands Air Ambulance at the time. Now is my opportunity to help provide funds that will help bring that skill and devotion to others .

In March 2010 I along with several other adventure riders will be setting off from Ushuia at the tip of South America to ride our motorcycles to Dawson Creek in Alaska,a journey of some 16000miles which we hope to complete in approx 8 weeks.

I will be undertaking this journey with Nick Sanders with whom I rode around the world with in 2002. Nick is a well known adventure biker and holds several records for these journeys, more detail about the trip can be seen on his website www.nicksanders.com

For a 63 year old (the new 43) this is a daunting trip and I am both priviliged and excited to be riding it ,so please help me raise funds for a fantastic cause by donating what ever you can.

Anyone of us may be very thankful one day to hear that helicopter approaching at a moment of great need either for ourselves or a loved one.
