Isabel Hospice exists to journey alongside people during some of life's most difficult times. Offering expert compassionate care, advice and support those living with progressive, life-limiting illnesses. Our care is free of charge to those who need it, but it is not without cost.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It has taken a long time to complete my retirement as many of you are aware.

But that day has now arrived, and I can now achieve some of those objectives and experiences I have talked about for so long.

The first part of my plan for the year is complete. In July I finished a six week project in Uganda, this included a gruelling 300K cycle ride from Rwanda. I followed this with 4 weeks of volunteer work in the town of Kabale.

I raised approximately £3,000 in support of this work which has been distributed to the two charities of Edirisa and Isabel Hospice.

I am now embarking on the second part of my challenge in support of the Isabel Hospice. In October we will fly to Marrakech where we will work with the local hospice to complete a piece of project work before embarking on a 50 mile trek across the desert.

Please support our efforts both in Marrakech and in the local area with a donation.

Thank you in advance.
