Last year my awesome life-long friend Dougie was diagnosed with MND at the age of 33 and whilst I often moan about a hangover Dougie has battled this terrible disease day-by-day and shown courage we can only dream of.

Sadly very little is known about MND and there is a severe lack of funding so a Team of us have decided to raise a bit of money by entering Tough Mudder.

This is a 12 mile-long obstacle course designed by the Special Forces to test our strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. They'll throw at us mountains of mud, Ice-water, Fire, and 10,000 volt electrical shocks -  Things Dougie would simply laugh at compared to his battle..
