2011 Windsor Half Marathon · 25 September 2011 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you may know, I am running the Windsor Half Marathon for the first time this year to raise money for Diabetes UK, in memory of Richard Tyrrell. Rich tragically passed away last year having had type 1 diabetes since he was a teenager.
Diabetes UK is the leading charity working for people with diabetes, funding research and helping people live with the condition. Its mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and to work towards a future without diabetes.
Richard's family, friends and colleagues have chosen to join “Team Rich” and enter the 2011 Windsor Half Marathon on 25 September 2011, raising money for Diabetes UK. Diabetes is a terrible disease that can take the healthiest and fittest from us even at a young age.
