Story
Rett Syndrome is a a terrible disease that affects baby girls just after they have learned to walk and say a few words. Their development is dragged backwards; they lose the skills they have acquired and quite soon they are unable to communicate or use their limbs. Very soon these these girls are locked - very painfully - into bodies that don't work. There is as yet no cure for Rett Syndrome - and no hope for the girls or their parents.
But there may be a cure on the horizon and this could be the first curable genetic brain disorder. Your support now might make this hope a reality.
I cycled 65 miles from London to Islip last weekend (though my only proof of this is a 'Big Bike Ride' Mug). If you trust me and feel like supporting me I'd be very grateful.
