Graham Marett tackles The BIG Ride

In April I plan to cycle from John o'Groats to , and will be using my big adventure to raise money for cancer research.

My intended route is a little over 1000 miles, threading it's way from the Scottish Highlands to the cliffs of the and Cornish coasts, following minor roads for as much of the distance as possible. The trip is usually done from south to north, but I have looked at the map and cunningly figured out that it is downhill all the way if you go from north to south. Have I learnt nothing from my years of hill-walking?

More than one in four deaths in the are caused by cancer, and almost everyone has family or friends whose lives have been devastated by the disease, My own family is no exception. Cancer Research is the leading charity dedicated to beating cancer, and by supporting me on my big ride you can contribute to this vital work.

All donations made through the JustGiving website go directly to Cancer Research . Donate today, and give me that extra incentive to keep pedaling!

The new bike is ready, the panniers are packed, so now I just need the leg power, the will power, and your support!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It is the most efficient way to donate.

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving web page, and for your support!
