RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Last year one of my close friends tragically drowned whilst saving his dog from rough seas in Scarborough's South Bay. The RNLI tried tireressly to save him, risking their own lives on multiple occasions. They do fantastic work all around the country and are funded entirely by charitable donations.

I'll be taking part in a 100 mile bike ride through London and the Surrey hills on Sunday. Any donations to the RNLI and the Legacy set up in Andrew's name would be gratefully received.
