My name is Graham Keegan, Chief Operating Officer for the eight2O Alliance and I am running the Virgin Marathon in partnership with Keith Wishart to raise money for WaterAid and The British Heart Foundation to contribute towards both Thames and Costain's excellent fundraising achievements.

We're going to be holding loads of great events, quizzes, games and a whole variety of fundraising activities so make sure you give it your all and dig deep. Myself and Keith are looking to raise £3,000 for each charity but we'd love to be able to give more - every penny you donate makes an enormous difference to those less fortunate than ourselves!!

WaterAid - dedicated to safe reliable water services for all.

WaterAid works in 27 countries worldwide, transforming millions of lives every year with clean water, safe toilets and hygiene education. They work with local partners to help communities make toilets and taps accessible to all, and uses their experience and research to influence decision-makers to do more to provide these vital services.

WaterAid is dedicated to helping people escape the poverty and disease caused by living without safe water and sanitation, something we so often take for granted.

The British Heart Foundation - read about their fight for every heartbeat.

Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer and the British Heart Foundation are leading the fight against it. BHF funds research, education, care and awareness campaigns aimed to prevent heart diseases in humans. They aim to cut early deaths resulting from coronary heart disease by 25% by 2025. Let's help them get there.
