Well I did it! Five long hours and 10 gruelling minutes and I crossed the finish line! I can safely say this was physically the harderst thing I have ever done in my life. Not just the event itself but the training that went with it. Thank you to all that have donated and if you anyone else is able to donate to a fantastic cause I would be grateful.
Get Kids Going! is a National charity which gives disabled children and young people - up to the age of 26 yrs - the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport.
They help promote sports for disabled children by providing them with specially built sports’ wheelchairs so they can do marathons, triathlons, tennis, athletics, mountain skiing, rugby, basketball etc. Get Kids Going! also helps and encourages British disabled children to compete by supporting them with their sports; training, physiotherapy, travel, design and development of sports’ wheelchairs. With our help many could become record holders and Paralympic champions!
