The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've committed to doing this ride (again) Many of you will know that I've done this ride a few times before over the last 6 years and I've made it a bit harder for myself every time - I've done it on a mountain bike, then on a full-suspension mountain bike, then on the same bike but without any training .... this time, if you can help me get to my target by the middle of September, I'll do it on the bike in the picture. It's steel framed and 27 years old and it needs a few parts - which may or may not be available!. I rebuilt it in 2010 and rode it once. I haven't ridden it since. For those of you who know about these things - the rear cassette is 11-17 !!  - I will be changing that if I can, so I can at least attempt to get up the hills.

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. They do this with the money that is raised by people like me, entering events like this and you can help by sponsoring me.

As I said, I'm doing the ride anyway, but if you really want to make it harder for me - get me to my target and I'll ride that old bike.
