The Holloway family (yes, Mum as well!) are embarking on a mad adventure, walking 192 miles across England from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in Yorkshire. We will be walking an ave of 14.5 miles a day involving a total ascent of 8800m,the equivalent of climbing Everest!...without the frost bite hopefully!
I am doing this as one of my DofE challenges, volunteering to raise £2,200 for charity. More importantly, we are all doing this to say thank you to St Vincent's Hospice which provided care for my lovely Grandad John who died of lung cancer last year and also provided fantastic support to my Grandma Joan - who is a legend!
