Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. For some of you this will be deja vu. There was the London Marathon in 2007 and then again in 2009. For 2010, the sights have been set higher. 5,895 metres higher to precise! The trek to the summit Kilimanjaro and back down will take 6 days and cover approximately 77 kilometres.
As many of you may know from my previous labours on behalf of Wellchild, this is a charity close to mine and Nicola's hearts. Wellchild is a fantastic charity that aims to improve the lives of seriously ill children and their families throughout the UK. It focuses on delivering care and support to children and their families who are in need, as well as research to improve treatments, immunisations programmes and surgical techniques. But back to the task in hand of raising fund for this worthwhile cause and asking you all to support me as strongly as you have before. The event will commence on December 2nd, but the challenge of being match ready commences today. All inspiration on this journey is gratefully received and much appreciated.

In accepting to do the challenge I have committed myself to raise a minimum amount above the £575 I have already paid to secure my place in the team. If I raise this minimum amount the balance of costs (£1,687) will be paid for by the charity. You will see below that I have already committed a further £500 to off-set these costs and commit to paying the full balance if I secure my target funds. Please help me do this and dig deep.
