Each year I try to set a personal challenge and raise some money for charity. This year is no different.

My family and friends will know I’m a bit of a running bore, so I thought why not push my limits and see what I’m capable of, whilst raising money for a brilliant charity. 

I’m  going to run 2 marathons in 2 days across the Sahara Desert 🌵 🐫 . Running on sand, in temperatures that reach 50 degrees centigrade... strong winds and undoubtedly very little sleep in my tent ⛺️ 

I’ve chosen the charity ‘mind’ as the more people I encounter I learn have faced various personal challenges, from stress, anxiety, depression, OCD - most people I know infact. We all treat this as a taboo subject, when really your mental health is no different to caring for a treating any other part of your anatomy. 

So please help me raise money for this charity and the great work they do in supporting and raising the visibility of mental health.
