I am Jules. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Greeting the 500 is an ambitious project that was initially conceived simply as a challenge by my friend Michael. He bet me that if I were to write to 500 British celebrites, simply asking them to meet me and have a picture taken with them, and also asking them to give me a small memento of our meeting (which will ultimately be auctioned off, proceeds given to the RNIB), NO MORE than 20% of them, ie 100, would agree.

I have great faith in mankind (and womankind) and would like to think that I should comfortably surpass that figure. The 500 to who I am about to write, have 6 months to respond. This challenge begins July 1st and ends December 31st 2005. (Extended to Feb 14th 2006)

Depending upon how well or badly I do, either Michael or myself will have to undergo a series of very unpleasant forfeits which are currently written down under lock and key. We had them signed by a lawyer and these forfeits are legally binding. I shall thus take immense pleasure in ensuring that young Mickey completes each one of them, should my efforts result in me winning.
