Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

We made it - 500 miles cycled in 5 days! We enjoyed a fantastic trip from the exposed roads around John O' Groats to the plummet from the top of the Lammermuir Hills to Berwick-Upon-Tweed on the final day. The trip was made even more memorable by the hospitality at our overnight stops and the support (and refreshments) provided by friends on the route. We were joined on the road by Charles Dawson, John Lang and Scott Turnbull for a number of stages. The fresh legs were much appreciated especially when we were battling headwinds on the coastal roads of Angus and Fife! Moral was also kept high by our support driver David Mitchell who did an outstanding job in keeping us fed, watered and organised. Lastly but most importantly thank you to everyone who has donated to our chosen charities to make our efforts worthwhile.

This was very much a team effort and I encourage you to visit Les (/Les-Anderson), John (/John-Wilson2) and Eric's (/Eric-Anderson) pages to show your support and share your generosity with all four of our chosen charities.

Thank you very much for taking the time to donate.
