The Gill Pasco Tour 2012 · 21 July 2012

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for Myeloma UK. Myeloma is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the bonemarrow. In November 2010 my mum, Gill Pasco, was diagnosed with myeloma, and she died in June 2011 at the age of 67.

My sisters, Helen & Maxine, and I are organising a fundraising bike ride, The Gill Pasco Tour, a 250 km ride over 2 days, that passes through all the places Mum lived. The ride starts at "Suntrap", a building in Epping Forest that was used as a maternity hospital during WW2, where Mum was born. The route then takes in Beckton, Crayford, Margate & Fordwich, near Canterbury.

The Gill Pasco Tour will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July 2012. A number of fellow cyclists, friends and family members are also doing the ride. Please help me to support the important work carried out by Myeloma UK.
