To celebrate 30 year of my Company we decided to organise a team sponsored event to raise money for a charity. I had been really inspired by the dedication and imagination which Harry Becher and the rest of the team at the 'Too Many Woman' fundraising campaign for Break through Breast Cancer demonstrated. When I discussed the idea of supporting this charity with the other people in the offices I was surprised and slightly shocked just how many of the others had a close friend or family member who had suffered from this disease.

We decided that during May we will, as an office run or walk 30 km per day for 30 days. My personal target ( if the aging limbs will endure such extremes) is to run 6km five times a week for the period. I have also agreed that Sullivan Thomas will match the first £150 raised by each member of staff. This is a very worthwhile cause which has made significant advances in recent years and further funds will help progress the current promising research so please give generously!
