On the 23rd of June 2013 I will be joining friends to cycle the Coast to Coast route from Whitehaven to Sunderland. The journey will take 3 days and cover over 137 miles. There are some big hills along the way. To keep me going I would apreciate any donations to help this good cause. 

I have chosen to raise money for "Retired Greyhound Trust" - The Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) is a national charity, founded in 1975 and are dedicated to finding loving homes for greyhounds when their racing days are over. The Retired Greyhound Trust's primary objective is to help find homes for retired racing greyhounds. The charity strives for the day when no ex-racing greyhound is without a good home.

They promote the rehoming of retired greyhounds through publicity and by working with those involved in greyhound racing to raise the profile of greyhounds retiring from racing. They also liaise with other canine welfare and charitable organisations seeking to find good homes for greyhounds.

Last year we adopted Pepper - then called Megan from the Crook branch of RGT. She was then a shy quite greyhound. Within a year we have her trained and is the proud owner of a silver good citizen kenal club award. Greyhounds make great pets are very gentle and dont requier as much exercise as you think.
Jive and Pepper are my 2 best friends.
