Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Earlier this year our whole world was turned upside down when my brother Neil (Evie's God father) had a seizure and was later diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. Neil is 41 and otherwise completely healthy, so this came as a complete shock as is the case for many brain tumour sufferers and their loved ones. One of the main feelings that we have experienced as a family is helplessness; the feeling that there is nothing that you can do to change the situation. One of the greatest sources of comfort has been the level of support that he has received from family and friends. Neil has recently completed Radiotherapy and at the time of the walk will be one month into Chemotherapy. He intends to fully complete the walk alongside all his favourite people.
The twilight walk is about 'doing something' practical to raise funds for a tremendous charity who are working hard to find a cure for this terrible condition. It is also about embracing the support of those around us and joining together to demonstrate our support for all those affected.
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible as a family and contribute to a team target of £5000!
Thank you in advance
love, Lee, Nicky, Kaitlin, Tyler, Evie and Casper xxxx
