"Only those who risk going too far can possibly know how far one can go."

...and we are going all the way - all 10k!  The 10 week training plan has been issued and we've started pounding the pavement (and the treadmill) in preparation - the countdown is on!

Legs Eleven isn't just a seedy strip club in - it's also the name of the Group Procurement charity running collective taking part in this year’s 10k!

After last year's competitive run in the same event, Group Procurement has stepped up to the mark and set the challenge again but this time, the team has grown from three to eleven (hence the name!)

Year after year we take money out of the business' budgets, and now we want to give some back in the form of a donation to our chosen charity, Francis House.   Francis House offers the families of very sick children a respite from their role as carers, and gives the children a loving home from home.  Each year Francis House provides care for over 150 children and their families, and is funded almost entirely from charitable donations such as yours. Any donation, no matter how small will help make the lives of these children and their families easier.

It is in our nature to want to squeeze every last penny out of a situation and we aim to do the same with you! For some of you it maybe that you pay to see Group Procurement collectively suffer, alternatively, you can simply donate out of the goodness of your heart.

Whatever the reason, get behind Legs Eleven and please give generously!

About the charity

Francis House supports more than 600 families of children, teenagers and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. We need over £4.7 million in charitable donations each year to continue to provide our services. Thank you for your support.
