I have now completed the Preston guild marathon in a time of 3.50.43 putting me in the top third of finishers in 375th place, which took place on 28th October 2012. It was looking like I could be on for an even better time until being forced to walk the last 2 miles before collapsing with 100m to go and having to be helped over the line. I then spent an hour in the frist aim tent being treated for cramp and hypothermia. I decided to enter the marathon as it is a good challenge to undertake, aswell as a great way to hopefully raise a large amount of money for a good cause.
