On 18th June 2011 I am planning to go out for a few beers and a curry in Guildford. Nothing unusual in that you might think and hardly worthy of sponsorship. However, in order to be sure of a decent thirst and appetite I am going to attempt to cycle there from Keighley, a total distance of 430km or 267 miles. In order to have a small chance of arriving before last orders I will be setting out at midnight and cycling through the night and day to hopefully arrive just before sunset.
Hopefully this endeavour is sufficient to elicit a small donation to my chosen charity, Bradford & Airedale Cancer support. This is a local charity which provides valuable support to the many people whos lives are touched in some way by cancer.
