We serve the whole of humanity through seva to support the vulnerable around the world

Story

On August 2nd 2013 I will brave an attempt to jump out of an aeroplane at approximately 12000 feet above ground level falling back down to the ground at around 115mph! however the jump, alongside climbing ben nevis is to raise money for the Leamington & Warwick Khalsa Aid water for Africa Appeal.

The teams aim is to raise £20,000 for an end to end project to provide a clean water supply for a community in Kenya.  The people of a small village in the district of Kajiado south of Nairobi, Kenya have to collect water from 10 KM away. There are over 1000 people and over 2000 livestock in this village. Last year Khalsa Aid delivered over 100 Tons of aid to this drought affected region and decided to look at a more long term sustainable project.  The total cost for this project is estimated to be around £15K to £20K however, the final total depends on the depth of good water. Ultimately the aim is to provide clean, fresh water to those people who are not as privaliged to have such a basic amenity most of us take for granted.
