On the 25th October I will be competing in the Clapham Common 10km run for two Charities.

The donations on this site will go to the Demelza House, a charity I have supported several times in the past and am proud to be supporting again, details of its work can be found here ( www.demelza.org.uk ).

I am also running this race in conjunction with the Civil Service Benevolent Fund and whatever is raised on this site I will personally match and donate to the Fund. Details of the fund’s work can be found here ( www.csbf.org.uk ).

So every pound donated will get doubled, which should provide you with as much motivation to donate as the thought of me suffering around 10km! I will also continue my personal tradition of trying to run the race in less minutes than my age, so this year I will be attempting to run it in less than 57 minutes.
