Story
There was once a group of girls who all went to school together. Over hockey, netball, nights on the town and girlie holidays they became the best of friends. They went through everything together; first love, first car, first house, first hangover and now marriage and children. After school they all went their separate ways and lived all over the country (and world!) but still remained the best of friends. Then one of them got breast cancer at the age of 30 and things were never the same again.
After a long, brave and inspiring fight against breast cancer Natalie - one of 'The Girls' as her Dad would say - sadly passed away in November 2009. St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds looked after Nat in her last weeks and in a bid to show our gratitude for how well they took care of her (and because it would amuse Nat no end!) The Gussett Girls (as nicknamed by Nat's husband Steve) will be taking to the streets of north Leeds on Saturday 15th May in a charity midnight walk.
We cannot begin to describe how much we miss Nat but needless to say she is never far from our thoughts and she will forever be one of 'The Girls'.
Any money you can donate to our charity walk would be much appreciated. Nat had such a zest for life so this one's for her and all money raised will be donated in her name.
Many Thanks
The (Gussett) Girls
