The Cancerwise Soapbox Derby takes place on Sunday 23rd October 2011. It is the second Soapbox Derby we have held at the Wonderful and Iconic Goodwood Race Circuit in West Sussex and we extremely grateful yet again to the Duchess of Richmond and Gordon for donating the day to the Charity.

Cancerwise are a registered charity offering support and information to anyone concerned about cancer. We offer a free drop-in service in a friendly non-clinical environment. There is no appointment system, no need for a referral, just a friendly face and a comfy chair when you need it. Our bright, welcoming centre is open from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Wednesday and 9.30 to 1pm on Thursday and Friday and is located in Basin Road, Chichester. |

Our approach is positive and holistic, focussing on relaxation techniques, subsidized complementary therapies and gentle exercise like T'ai Chi and Dru Yoga, tips on looking and feeling good and information on healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices. All designed to help you cope with your diagnosis and treatment |
We have 12 entries to the race as I write and our aim is to get to Thirty, the more entries to the race the more support we shall get.
It is a great day out for all the family and there will also be attractions including rides and amusements as well as Car displays.
