My sons' school, St George's, Harpenden, organises a fun run every year; this will be its 5th incarnation.  The run is supporting two charities: Medecins sans Frontier and the Soldier's Charity. Medicins sans Frontieres was founded in 1971 and has medics in all of the world’s most desperate crisis zones, often working with minimal support and with grave threats to their personal security. Facing an ever-present threat of murder or kidnap, the organisation was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.
