Eton Dorney Olympic Triathlon · 2 September 2012

Set up in 2005 as a response to the tsunami in Sri Lanka. Today Ocean Stars offers these communities a route out of poverty by supporting a range of educational and livelihood projects.

Story

As part of Paul Grant's attempt to raise £10k for charity by spending the Summer swimming, I'm helping out by doing an Olympic triathlon on 30 September 2012.  It's all in aid of Ocean Stars, a charity supporting orphans in Sri Lanka.

If you'd like to sponsor me, please add your donation (and Gift Aid) to this page. I'm very grateful for your support.

It's my first attempt at a triathlon.  I've been busy training for the last 6 weeks (when I bought my first pair of running shoes!) and hope to be able to swim 1 mile, ride 25 miles and run the 10,000m in under 3 hours.
