Hana's Sheffield Half Marathon

Sheffield Half Marathon 2018 · 8 April 2018 ·
On the 8th April 2018 I’ll be taking part in the Run for All Sheffield Half Marathon as part of the University of Sheffield team. I am raising funds for the University’s £2 million campaign to bring an MRI-PET scanning facility to Sheffield, the first of its kind in Yorkshire!
Having always enjoyed my weekly park runs, I have now decided to challenge myself further and train for a half marathon. With your help and support, I'll be motivated to train, whilst raising money for a great cause.
I will be among thousands of runners who’ll descend on the city’s streets on 8 April. With a city centre start and finish, the Sheffield Half Marathon route will take us out of the city along Ecclesall Road, up the long hill beyond Hunter’s Bar, along Knowle Lane and Ringinglow Road up to the Norfolk Arms, just a few metres from the Peak District National Park, before turning left, flattening out and then descending back into Sheffield down the same stretch of Ecclesall Road towards the finish line back in the city centre.
