Nick and I are planning to cycle from Oxford to Bristol on Sat 22nd June 2013 with colleagues from HEFCE. We are raising money for Children's Hospice South West. As the name suggests they are a local charity who run hospices in the south west (see http://www.chsw.org.uk/). I hope you agree - a well deserving charity...

As I am sure you know Nick is not exactly at his peak fitness - and even with my enthusiastic running attempts - this will be hard!!! We will be cycling a distance of 75 miles and, assuming that we can maintain a good average speed, will be cycling for 6 and a half hours!
