Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Earlier this year I heard the tragic news that one of my old school friends Phil Burrows had lost his life to Leukaemia. I was shocked, as were many of my old school friends. Phil was just 36 and had recently got married. Our local paper wrote a feature about Phil, and his dad Colin. Colin had lost his fight with cancer just 10 days before Phil was taken from his family and friends. I found the feature difficult to read, yet I was inspired reading about Phil and his adventurous life. It spurred me into making a decision to raise some money, doing something that Phil had enjoyed, for the charity Leukaemia research. I floated the idea of a charity tandem skydive on Facebook and before I knew it 13 others, including Phil’s wife Mandy had decided to join me. In April 2012, 14 friends will jump out of a plane in the name of Phil Burrows, our aim is to raise as much money as possible and we really do need your help. Please give what you can, we really do appreciate every penny you can spare.
