This cause is close to my heart as I lost my Mom to small cell lung and liver cancer last year. Many family and friends have been affected too so I walk for them, raising awareness and hopefully raising funds to!

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK beat lung cancer sooner.

Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in the UK. Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK, and the disease claims almost 35,200 lives.

Although some progress has been made, Cancer Research UK is committed to making further progress. Their scientists and doctors are finding ways to detect lung cancer earlier, and developing new treatments that are more effective and gentler for patients.
