Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This weekend I’m taking part in the Kingston Rotary Club Dragon Boat Challenge in Matt Dawson’s team, with the aim to raise a bit of cash for the charity Beating Bowl Cancer. The charity carry’s out invaluable work to raise awareness and give support to those whose lives have been impacted by bowel cancer.

This year a couple of friends have been fighting the disease, so I thought this would be an appropriate opportunity to raise a bit of money for a great cause which I have recently become more aware of. I fully understand this is not a marathon, Iron Man or trek across a barren wilderness; this is purely a day aimed at raising some cash for a worthy cause. In these austere times I would not expect anyone to donate any silly sums, but a couple of pounds would be hugely appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Many thanks in advance to everyone who dips their hands in their pockets.
