Finally a fund raising event I was born to take part in. No need to train. No need to swatup. No need to go for long runs every morning (although I have been putting some 'running man' practice in). Yes, on the 9th July, I'm participating in a dance-a-thon! Yes I'm gonna throw some shapes in the name of Human Rights!
I'm dusting off my dancing shoes to support the tremendous work of Human Rights Watch. For those of you who don't know Human Rights Watch, the organisation protects and defends human rights around the world, standing with victims and activists to prevent discrimination, to uphold political freedom, to protect people from inhumane conduct in wartime, and to bring offenders to justice. (You can read more at www.hrw.org.) I first became involved in supporting this work in 2006.
So please support me (and my dodgy knees) and dig deep!
Oh and make it snappy because I've been too busy to set up this site before now - so I've got to get a lot of sponsorship in a really small amount of time.
Thanks in advance
