Hackney Quest is a truly remarkable local charity. Working with some of the borough's most disadvantaged children, the charity provides stimulating social, recreational and educational activities, helping these children make friends and develop a sense of social responsibility. In one of the country's most deprived areas, this charity helps keep kids off the streets and away from crime and anti-social behviour while providing them with the tools needed to live a successful and fulfilled life.
On Saturday 5th June we'll be running 10K round Victoria Park. The event follows last year's run by the club, which raised over £2000 for the children's charity. Everyone is welcome to join us, and if you cannot make it please do help us reach our target. Those not ready for a 10K run can still take part, with a 5K walk starting at the same time. 
Without the money raised last year they would have been unable to provide their annual Christmas Party. And those members of the club who made it along can attest to just what a fantastic night this was, and to how terrific the work done by this charity is.
