My story

After many years of talking about it I have finally decided to take the plunge and I am running my first marathon on April 29th for an amazing charity which is very close to my heart.

The Finlay Cooper Fund was formed in August 2006, by my cousin Colin Cooper and his wife Julie.
They lost their son Finlay in January 2002, in a tragic choking accident and wanted to do something positive in his name to try and help children's Charities.

They have so far raised over £50,000 with the help of a lot of generous people. Donations have been given to three Children's Hospices, a children's diabetes trust and also a childrens Cancer Ward.

As you can imagine I have got the fear, what with having to cut down on alcohol just so I can haul my arse out of bed on sunday mornings to put the miles in but with your generosity and encouragement I know I can get there.

Many thanks,

Hade
