We fund bowel cancer & disease research to save and change lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mother Joyce was recently diagnosed with Bowel Cancer and is undergoing treament for the disease.  Bowel Cancer affects 1 in 25 people and 100 people in the UK are diagnosed every day.  Please follow this link to look and check for the symptons for this terrible disease. http://www.beatingbowelcancer.org/Content/194/Symptoms

My father has also recently been fighting Colitis another digestive disease.  He has had to endure several weeks in hospital and had 4 major operations.  1 in 250 people suffer from the illness and in many cases it is impossible to extinguish.  Further research is vital.

To raise money for this great cause a group of us will be attempting to walk the length of the Roman Emperor Hadrian's Wall from Coast to Coast in 3 days at the end of July 2010.  It's going to be tough so please give generously!

You can take a look at some of the landscape and scenery of the wall by clicking on the photo above.
