We are raising money for Derian House Children's Hospice, a local charity, based in Chorley, Lancashire, which focuses on providing specialist palliative respite and terminal care for children who may not live to reach adulthood.

This is such a worthy cause as although the Hospice is open for 52 weeks a year, they only receive statutory funding for just nine of those, therefore every penny of donations counts!

We are therefore organising a charity male leg waxing at Haines Watts Leyland offices, where three of our bravest male staff members, Richard Carter, Mark Croasdale and Mark Tunstall, will have their legs waxed from the knee down! Local beautician, Jo-Anne Glease of Beautylicious Beauty Salon, Hough Lane, Leyland has kindly volunteered to wax the legs in question.

The leg waxing will take place on 3 October 2012 at 10am. This will be at the Leyland offices and a small donation will be required to watch the event!

Haines Watts (Preston) Limited is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leyland, with other offices around the UK totalling approximately 60. This leg waxing event is therefore a far cry from a 'normal day at the office'!
