Story

I have lovely, gorgeous red hair and I feel it's time to shave it off to a cause I am dear too. CHD-UK have supported and helped me over the last few years since I had Fin. Finn was born with a congenital heart defect. I feel that by shaving my hair off that it is nothing compared to what Finn and also the Founder of CHD-UK has been through. My hair will grow back whereas I could have easily lost my boy (Finn) like others who have lost their babies to congenital heart defects, especially when it has gone undetected during pregnancy and not all are deteced as a new-born.

I am also an advocate in the use of pulse oximetry, which is also included in the multi-function patient monitor. So, I am helping CHD-UK to raise much needed money for this piece of equipment. The money will be going to Wallace & Gromit Grand Apeal (Charity Registration No. 1043603) who will direct all the funds raised for the multi function patient to Bristols Children's Hospital.
