Losing your hair as an adult is traumatic enough, but for children with cancer it is heartbreaking.

Until The Little Princess trust was founded the wigs for kids were either terrible or expensive. Having a wig made took a long time. Now we can have a colour matched human hair wig delivered within hours

Time is important, we want to get the wig ready before the hair falls out whenever possible.

I am a mother, I know how lucky I am to have my own 'little princess' safe and well. I know I can't cure cancer but I can help the children feel and look 'normal' again.

We should all do whatever is within our capeability, so this is why we at Hairport offer a free wig fitting service for children.

Anyone wishing to donate their hair will also have it removed and restyled for free as long as it is suitable. They may also share this page if they do not wish to do a page of their own.

We are aiming to raise a total of £1000 before The Big Wig Ball on March 2nd 2013.

Hannah who is having her hair cut soon has raised over £700 on her own page, that is enough to pay to make up 2 wigs.

Each wig costs the charity £350 to make from donated hair, so even if you can't get much sponsorship every penny counts.
