So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.   I will be volunteering in Burkina Faso, West Africa for 3 months this Summer to work on a project with International Service, a NGO with a mission to combat poverty and oppression. Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the World. Our team of 6 volunteers will support over 80 disabled women to earn a better standard of living by improving their commercial activities. Activities include helping develop marketing plans, helping people learn business skills, making a film about the women's production of millet and soya milk.   I am relishing the opportunity to take part in this programme and I am really passionate about helping disadvantaged people. I leave on 25th June and return on 17th September so this will give me time to actually make a long lasting impact on their lives.
