Royal Parks Half Marathon 2018 · 14 October 2018 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for clicking the link!

I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon through London in October, along with 8 of my colleagues from Ramboll's Offshore Wind team (click on the Team RRUN link above) to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.

The Alzheimer's Society does so much fantastic work both in research and in care for patients, such as their drug discovery work through PhD research, or Dementia Cafes to help support communities.

I'm sure most of us will know someone who has suffered dementia; my grandfather lived with it for several years, and we will all have seen both the upsetting impact it has on people, but also the huge differences that a small bit of help can make. The Alzheimer's Society is committed to making their (and maybe our) lives better - do please help me to help them.
